If you're feeling unloved or unappreciated, it's not because others are failing you, but because you aren't loving and appreciating others. Start with the intent to focus on loving and appreciative thoughts. Then, actively seek reasons to love and appreciate others. When you reach that state of love and appreciation, it will feel wonderful, and you'll truly feel how loved and appreciated you are.
The Joy Energy
A client longed to feel loved by her deceased mother.
She shared with a heavy heart that this was impossible due to her mother's alcoholism and neglect.
This heavy feeling of yearning was often triggered when she saw other's happy relationships, or when she felt worried about her kids.
She had gotten lots of sympathy growing up around this situation from her neighbors, teachers, and family members. So there was no doubt in her mind she was justified in her thinking.
During our hypnosis session, I guided her to focus on memories of feeling loved and supported by her mom.
She was very surprised as beautiful memories of mom flooded her that she had forgotten. Memories came of mom looking after her when she was sick, mom teaching her how to sew, mom making a favorite meal for her.
She shared she had felt a big relief and that her heart felt like it had melted and opened up.
In further sessions, more joyful changes came as she freed up her energy by shifting her focus in other areas of her life as well.
