I’ve made a lot of poor, mindless, and honestly, stupid decisions in my life, all taken when I was in feelings of lack.

Whether it was sending an impulsive email out of anger or fear, making poor choices with my money when clouded by anxiety, saying yes to something or someone to keep the peace, or falling into unhealthy habits like overeating to avoid uncomfortable feelings, it all came when I was in a negative state of mind.

I’ve also turned down the support I needed because of shame, guilt, or feelings of failure. I stayed stuck in old beliefs that no longer served me and couldn’t see the opportunities right in front of me.

Things started to shift when I began showing up for those lack-based feelings and changing my perspective.

Procrastination and fears of not being good enough turned into action, and I started pursuing my dreams, and more fully living my life, like becoming a hypnotist and creating my business, establishing a regular yoga practice, hiking in the mountains, taking up photography, writing children’s stories, and making other proactive choices.

Now, I have better habits and more positive thought patterns as my default.

I do more of what I want, make more mindful choices, feel healthier and happier, and lead a richer life than my old self in so many ways.

But I still have plenty of unhealthy patterns I want to change, just like you probably do too.

The possibilities for growth and evolution are endless.
