Hello, Beautiful Sharon,

Holiday times can stir up trouble and bring more challenges.

One of the best things you can do during the holidays, or anytime, is to continually nurture your positive mindset.

Then when unwelcome trouble or challenges come up you'll find you are not easily triggered, thrown off balance, or catapulted into a negative tailspin.

Becoming a master in a martial art, skateboarding, or any physical endeavor, isn't accomplished by dabbling occasionally, it takes practice until the moves become 2nd nature.

It is the same for developing a resilient, adaptable, joyful mind, you need consistency and practice

An ideal time to nurture your positive mindset and get the tone of your day off to a good start is to take a few minutes each morning before you get out of bed to look for thoughts that make you feel good

I've woken up in a hurry, skipping my golden opportunity to start my day off right because my mind was focused on the many things I needed to get done.

This doesn't go well for me. I'm starting off from a place of pressure, and irritable thoughts are often flowing before I even make it out of my bedroom. Once these grumbly thoughts take hold I find it takes a lot more effort to turn things around back to the positive. And negative thoughts are more likely to keep popping up.

Yesterday morning I woke up feeling off, with a bit of uncomfortable pressure in my head. I stayed put and took advantage of my opportunity to start my day off right. I began to search for feel-good thoughts.

I thought of memories of my granddaughters playing, which often takes me to a good feeling place, but my yucky feeling head stayed the same.

So then I tuned in to how comfortable my bed felt. I basked in how good my head felt cradled in my comfy pillow. I noticed the parts of my body that felt relaxed. Ahh, that did the trick. I felt my body relax even more and the pressure completely disappeared. Yay.

Another ideal time to get your morning off to the right start is to end your night in a positive way

Sometimes I take a few moments in bed at night to feel good about my tomorrow.

I might appreciate the fun I'll have writing my newsletter, take the time to imagine how it might support others, or I might look forward to leading a Joyshop and bask in the good energies I have felt when doing them.

Other times I might appreciate things from that day, like appreciating a session I felt was powerful and supportive, or I might bask in my blessings like my friends and family.

But often I am tired and my brain wants to stop. If I am in a joyful state I'll just drop off to sleep.

Last night I directed myself to the positive by falling asleep to Go Deep With Sleep, part one, the Hypnosis Meditation I gifted you last week.

My subconscious soaked up the positive suggestions and this morning I jumped out of bed, no basking needed, and woke up eager for my day.

Maybe challenge yourself during the holidays to start your day with positive feelings and end your day with positive feelings.

Be like a curious scientist, and experiment with what thoughts work for you.

With practice, you'll get better at it.

Feel Good By Choosing Thoughts That Feel Good,

Sharon

One participant shared how working with me has been a big beautiful surprise, my words.

To paraphrase her she said she had done a lot of work on herself in the past and tried a lot of different stuff but was in awe because this was really working.

She felt her brain changing as well as her life.

For instance, her social anxiety seemed to have evaporated. She was feeling relaxed in situations that normally would make her stressed. She was able to redirect away from fears in some extreme situations and access her inner-wisdom and next steps. Yay!

Mastery of Joy Health Package

Attend to the most important foundational piece in your healing journey, nurturing your positive mindset

During a health crisis, we can be so busy trying to find the right action to take we can forget the most important part of all, nurturing our positive mindset, so we can be the most cooperative component in our healing journey so the rest can fall into place

A dramatic diagnosis of cancer or
a disease can catapult us into fear.

Or the discouraging or hopeless
feeling of living in chronic pain or
suffering from a progressive or
ongoing condition can be
a constant stress.

Unfortunately, just when we
need it most, during stress our
body's healing abilities shut
down and prevent the healing
process.

Negative expectations and
fears, add more stress. This
can block out possibilities, and
become a negative placebo,
called the nocebo effect.

During stress the body tightens
up and we actually create more

pain and suffering, the opposite
of what is needed.

From a place of fear or panic,
decisions can be poor or
indecisive. Leading us to wildly
search one option after another
in a frantic way.

What to expect

To relax both your mind and body

A relaxed mind is a perfect state for the
body's natural healing powers to turn on.
a relaxed body can allow the healing
process to happen more quickly.

To let go of the fears and anxieties
and replace them with positive
expectations

This allows you to enjoy the now
moments, and move forward with
decisions from a clear-minded
state

Testimonials for Mastery of Joy Health Package

"... My objective was to help
relieve pain I was
having in my spine.

I started to see results
after my first visit.

As I continued the
results grew stronger
and stronger.

The first thing I noted
I was not thinking
about the pain
so
much.

These were
the building blocks
I needed to progress
away from an
‘incurable
illness’
...

Being off the
medications is a
huge
leap forward,
having energy is
priceless
.

... I am back to
work
for the
first time in years

doing what I thought
I would never be
able to do again..."

" ... The X-ray showed that two of
my spinal discs were actually missing ...
I was told I needed spinal surgery,
spinal fusion with a bone graft ...

... Coming out of the anesthesia
I was aware of thirst but figured I
would get some water once I went
back to the hospital room itself.
The nurses seemed to be under a
fair amount of “hurry stress.”

One of them said to me, “I’m going
as quick as I can to get you some
pain relief.  It will just be a moment.”
I was puzzled.  “What?” “Just one
second, Honey, I’m on it.” “On what?”
“On your shot, Honey.  I know how
bad it hurts.” “Um, what?” “This surgery,
Honey.” She said, “I’ve seen a lot of
them, and I know what it’s like.
It’ll just be a second, now.” “I’m fine.”
That brought a total gaping stare.
“You’re fine? Fine???”

“Yes, I’m fine.”  Since that seemed
incredible to her, I told her about the
hypnosis.  She seemed shocked and
offered me the narcotics two more
times before leaving, muttering
something about, “I never thought
I’d see it.  Something new for my
career!” ... I was not in pain.  Not
one bit! ..."
