Hello Beautiful Sharon,
Most of our biggest regrets don't happen when we're calm and thinking clearly.
They happen when we're reactive.

When we're angry, hurt, fearful, frustrated, lonely, exhausted, or trying to prove ourselves, we're far more likely to react than respond.
We say things we wish we hadn't said.
We buy things we wish we hadn't bought.
We stay in stories that don't serve us.
We make choices that feel good in the moment but don't support our future.
The problem isn't that there is something wrong with us.
Strong emotions narrow our thinking.
Research shows that when we're stressed or emotionally upset, our brain doesn't work at its best. We have a harder time seeing the big picture, solving problems, and making wise decisions.
Instead, we're more likely to defend ourselves, protect our ego, avoid discomfort, or look for immediate relief.
This is why I encourage people to pause before reacting.
Not because your feelings are wrong.
But because your feelings are information, not instructions.
You don't have to act on every emotion you feel.
Before you respond, pause.
Take a breath
Pause with self-hypnosis
Go for a walk.
Do a hypnosis meditation
Reach for relief before you reach for action.
The calmer and more centered you become, the more access you have to your wisdom, creativity, compassion, and common sense.
You stop reacting from the moment and start responding from the person you want to be.
You begin making choices that support both your present self and your future self.
And that changes everything.
