Real Talk
So often we look for relief outside ourselves: a compliment, someone to agree with us, a glass of wine, a snack, or another distraction.
We forget that real relief comes when we begin shifting our thoughts from within.
Sometimes it is rehearsing worries, replaying old hurts, or feeding negative stories about ourselves and life.
Other times it shows up as reacting in the moment, like snapping at a child or partner, instead of pausing, shifting our thinking, and giving ourselves inner calm.
How often do you show up as your own best friend, encourage yourself, and remind yourself of your strengths?
Do you show up for your fears and worries and offer soothing and new perspectives?
Do you tally what is going wrong, or what is going right?
Do you notice your blessings?
This is where hypnosis can really support you.
