Real Talk 🌷
This week brought plenty of challenges, and at times, it all felt like too much to figure out.
So instead of trying to sort everything out at once, I stepped back.
I took walks, listened to audiobooks, baked cookies, did yard work, and distracted myself from the problems and let in the balance and calm.
Then I followed the small steps that felt right as clarity came.
The steps didn’t seem like much, but they kept me moving gently forward. And some of the problems got solved.
So often, we want to tie everything up in a neat bow and have it all figured out forever.
I definitely fall into that trap.
But really, most answers and solutions unfold over time.
My mantra this week: It’s already figured out and done. The plan is in place. I can relax, enjoy my life, and let the answers come as I go.
I still had moments of overwhelm (and even snapped at my husband 🙃, but thankfully, he forgave me.)
The truth is, freaking out only fuels fear, lack-driven actions, and impulsive reactions.
But when I choose calm, and make that the priority to reach first, I not only feel good and enjoy my life, but I’m also able to move forward one step at a time. And that’s always enough. 🌸
