When unwanted things happen—events that stir up fear for the future or shake your whole being—it’s natural to feel pulled into negativity.
If worry, anger, or other painful thoughts truly served us—if they brought positive change or real relief—I’d say, go ahead and feed them.
But they don’t.
Instead, they weigh us down, cloud our minds, bring more pain and suffering, and compromise our health and well-being.
Be willing to reach for the best-feeling thoughts you can find.
Feeling good truly is a beautiful way to live.
And here’s the magic: the sooner you reach for that relief, the easier it becomes to turn things around.
Feeling good doesn’t just feel better—it works better.
The more you focus on feeling good, the more you enter a state of allowing—a place of alignment with your true self, where well-being, clarity, wisdom, and vitality naturally flow.
This is where the magic lies.
In this receptive state, you open the door to the Divine, connecting with the infinite intelligence that gently guides and supports you.
Here, you can influence what’s within your control and release the rest, trusting that your story is still unfolding, and things are working out, even in the face of the unwanted.
And remember, you’re always just one breath or gentle thought away from feeling better. Be willing, if you can, to give yourself this relief, to lean into what will ultimately feel better.
But if you need time to sit with the heavier feelings, that’s okay too. Those gentle, uplifting thoughts are always there for you, on tap, patiently waiting. The Divine doesn’t judge.
Each small moment of relief, each gentle shift toward a lighter, softer thought, guides your mind toward greater ease and calm. As you release your hold on worry and fear, uplifting new thoughts naturally flow in.
There is no greater gift than feeling good in the now moment."

Carol Smith About Fibromyalgia Client
" I needed spinal surgery, spinal fusion with a bone graft, ... Coming out of the anesthesia ... The nurses seemed to be under a fair amount of “hurry stress.” ... “I’m going as quick as I can to get you some pain relief. It will just be a moment.” I was puzzled. “What?” ... I know how bad it hurts.” “Um, what?” “This surgery, Honey.” She said, “I’ve seen a lot of them, and I know what it’s like. It’ll just be a second, now.” “I’m fine.” That brought a total gaping stare. “You’re fine? Fine???” “Yes, I’m fine.” ... I told her about the hypnosis. She seemed shocked and offered me the narcotics two more times before leaving, muttering something about, “I never thought I’d see it. Something new for my career!” ..."
