"Hello, Beautiful Sharon,
Feeling good isn’t the hard path—it’s the liberating one. Even when it feels justified, misery drains your energy, invites more negative thoughts, and turns life into an uphill climb. Instead, open your heart to uplifting thoughts that bring relief, comfort, hope, and ease. It feels better—and it works better.
The Joy Energy
When we make feeling good our priority, even during challenging moments, we create space for thoughts that bring comfort, relief, and higher perspectives.
By practicing perspectives that help us feel safe, supported, loved, and appreciative before challenges arise, we train ourselves to access these better feelings more quickly and effortlessly.
The real challenge, though, is often overcoming ourselves. Old patterns and beliefs can feel familiar, justified, and protective, yet they often trap us in cycles of negativity.
Recently, I caught myself spiraling into fear and frustration, consumed by my perception of someone else’s wrong actions and the world’s injustices. I recognized this familiar path—one that has led me to low energy, procrastination, unhealthy habits like eating sweets and carbs, mindless TV watching, and even physical discomfort like headaches or digestive issues.
That day, I quickly shifted away from negative thoughts using a self-hypnosis breathing technique I teach. A sense of relief washed over me, allowing me to focus on positive aspects of that person and the blessings in the world—patterns of thought I had practiced and knew would feel good. I went on to experience a joyful creative day.
